First of all, thank you for your help last
week. Your customer service sincerety
is a huge asset to your employer and your
customers.
I have used Powershift's services since 2002,
and not once have I considered changing
internet providers, until a few weeks ago
when Verizon called to entice us to switch
to their DSL. My reason for deciding
to switch was to save $50 per
month on our internet service. Before
the switch was completed, I had a minor
problem and was unable to access
the internet. Internet access is very
important in our business and it can be
very frustrating when we are unable to connect.
When I called Powershift, a "live"
person answered and attempted to walk me
through several possible solutions to
get us back online. When nothing worked
over the telephone, the customer rep dispatched
a technician to come out to our site. Within
a few minutes, he had found the problem.
I had accidently loosened the power connection.
In conversation with the same customer
representative who had very patiently
tried to help me, we discussed the different
services that Powershift now provides,
one being DSL. I told her that I had
commited to Verizon's DSL to save about
50% per month. She took the time to
explain Powershift's DSL service.
It was not a hard sell for her because I
am more than happy to keep my business with
PowerShift, a local company.
I feel they went above and beyond what was
needed to meet my needs. A customer
of Powershift's is treated as a person,
not a number.
